Questions before you play
How many people can play?
Shelter 12 is designed for 4–12 people playing together in the same place.
Does everyone need a phone?
Yes. Each person uses an iPhone or Android phone for private cards, while the discussion happens face to face.
Do players need an account?
No account is needed for standard games. Optional sign-in is used to purchase and restore Premium.
Is an internet connection required?
Yes. Phones connect to the same private room through the Shelter 12 service.
What does Premium add?
Premium adds themed decks, controls for usefulness and difficulty, character differences, and personal epilogues.
